How Bipe charges companies
Bipe pays for itself through the companies and institutions that serve their customers on Bipe. The pilot is free, and the price of each plan comes when it ends. This page explains how charging will work and why.
Rules for every plan
- Data and servers stay in Brazil, under Brazilian law.
- No plan charges per message.
- The seal is not for sale. Money does not buy a seal, a verification level, a faster review or another organisation's name. A plan pays for service: agents, support, monitoring and contract terms.
- People who use Bipe to chat never pay.
Why there is no price per message
- What a company gets from Bipe is a verified name that no scammer can copy.
- That name is worth more the more people could be fooled in the company's name. The number of messages does not change that.
- A price per message rewards whoever sends more. That volume is where spam comes from, and Bipe does not want spam.
- Institutions and public bodies buy with a yearly budget and need a fixed price.
Four plans
Small business
An active MEI or a micro company (ME), from Receita's data.
R$ 0
No monthly fee.
- Verified CNPJ seal and reserved name.
- Inbox with 2 agents.
- Questions with options and the API.
- Support through the help pages.
- The seal follows the same rules as every other plan: the owner's verified CPF must be one of the partners in the CNPJ record at Receita.
Company
Any other company with a verified CNPJ, or a small business that needs a 3rd agent.
Free pilot
A flat monthly fee per CNPJ, with one agent included, and a fee for each extra agent. Pay monthly or yearly.
- Verified CNPJ seal and reserved name.
- Inbox with as many agents as the team needs.
- Questions with options and the API.
Institution
Banks, fintechs, insurers, utilities, health networks and large retailers.
Free pilot
A yearly contract. The price follows the number of people the institution serves, in bands.
- Unlimited agents.
- Every reserved name of the brand, with monitoring for lookalike names.
- The verification levels its sector needs.
- Support with response times in the contract.
Public body
Government bodies, with public body verification.
Free pilot
A yearly contract. The price follows the number of people the body serves, in bands.
- The same service as the Institution plan, at 50% off.
Nonprofits, churches and associations pay half the Company plan price.
Free tools on every plan
Any company account uses these tools for free, on any plan.
The pilot is free
- Companies in the pilot pay nothing.
- When the pilot ends, each company gets a price offer.
- The inbox, the API and the CNPJ seal are not live yet.
