Bots always marked
Every automated account is a bot. A bot always shows its mark and the name of its owner.

How it works
- The mark shows in the chat list, next to the name, on every message and in the notification. The bot can't hide it.
- The profile shows who owns the bot: a verified person or a company with the business seal.
- In a chat with a bot, a fixed line at the top says that it reads the messages there.
- A bot never sends the first message. It only writes to someone who started the chat, or in a group where the organisers added it.

More in Identity
Verified seal
Free verification through Pix or gov.br. The seal comes with the verified name.
Business seal
A company, school or association proves its CNPJ and gets a seal with the name on the federal register.
Reserved names
Bank, government and Bipe names are kept for the institution's verified account.
Disguised letters
The name check treats some lookalikes, such as O and 0, as the same letter. It does not cover every similar name.
Is that really Mom?
If the contact saved as Mom has a different verified name, the app asks if it's the same person.
