# Partners · Bipe

Bipe is an experiment. The idea is that it becomes common infrastructure, a Pix for conversations: everyone uses it, several organisations carry it, no company owns it. Today Envisioning makes the app and runs the servers. To get there, Bipe needs more organisations. That is why we are looking for partners.

## Why partner

- Data and servers stay in Brazil, under Brazilian law.
- Scams by message cost everyone: the person who loses the money, the bank that handles the case, the shop whose name is used. A messenger built against scams costs less together than alone.
- Nobody owns it. No partner, not even Envisioning, changes the rules alone.
- The code and the protocol are open. What you help build stays public and is not locked to anyone.
- Costs and risks are shared. Legal work, moderation and servers do not rest on one organisation.

- Funders of public-interest infrastructure.
- Technology and telecom companies.
- Banks and fintechs hit by the fake-support scam.
- Universities and research groups.
- Civil-society organisations.

## How you can help

- Money to keep the service running.
- Servers and hosting in Brazil.
- People for legal work and moderation.
- Research on scams, security and how people use the app.
- Bringing Bipe to the people who need it most.

## What is still open

- The form of the institution. An association is one option.
- Who decides what, and how costs are split.
- None of this is agreed. The idea is to design it with the first partners.
