# Quotes · Features · Bipe

The customer explains in the chat what they need. The business answers with a quote card that shows the items, the total and how long it is valid.

## How it works

- Quote data stays on Bipe's servers in Brazil.
- The customer's description and photos stay in the chat, which is end-to-end encrypted. Bipe records only that a quote request exists.
- The business builds the quote on the phone, with items from the catalog or typed in, and a valid-until date.
- The customer taps Accept or Decline. An expired quote cannot be accepted.
- An accepted quote becomes an agenda booking or an order. A business with a verified CNPJ can charge a deposit by Pix.
- If the price changes, the business sends a new version. Both sides can still read the old versions.
- It is free on every plan, for any company account.
