# Virtual queue · Features · Bipe

Customers join the queue from the QR code at the door and wait wherever they like. Bipe tells them when two people are ahead and when it is their turn.

## How it works

- Queue data stays on Bipe's servers in Brazil. Bipe deletes each place in the queue after 30 days.
- The customer sees their place, the estimated wait and a Leave the queue button. The wait shows as a range of minutes, never as an exact time.
- Bipe never asks for or uses the customer's location.
- The business opens and closes the queue on the phone, calls the next person and adds people who came without the app.
- A customer who is called and does not arrive within 10 minutes loses their turn. The business can call them again.
- To join the queue, the customer needs a Bipe account.
- It is free on every plan, for any company account.
